Is Unified obsolete now that we have UCR? [/quote] Dhys Lowena, I a way I'd probably say - yes. However I don't see a problem in using both systems next to each other. Why do we have transfer the notion of the one-and-only-correct-spelling from English and other majority "official" languages onto Cornish. As long as the spellings are mutually comprehensible I really would worry about it too much. I generally write UCR though I make minor personal changes by transcribing typically Late Cornish forms into UCR and change the spelling of a few words. For example I write <dhodha> for <dhodho>, <oys>, <coys> and <bloydh> for <os>, <cos> and <blodh> (KK <oes>, <koes> and <bloedh>) and pronounce them with a long 'oo' sound (SAMPA [u:]). I don't see why spelling cannot vary a little individually. I'd say this goes for all orthographies. Dan
